WITH DATA FORMATTED TO THE ARKEOGIS STANDARD
- The platform’s strict import protocol
- The unified geographical projection system
- The translations into your working language of the general shared terms of reference
These aspects of ArkeoGIS allow you to export your search results in a standard Comma-separated values format, known as CSV. This is an open text format representing tabular data (columns and rows) as separate values. ArkeoGIS uses UTF8 encoding to take into account the different alphabets used, and uses the semicolon “;” as a separator.
The file format and the data (georeferenced and qualified) thus made available to you can be directly re-used and exploited with the tools of your choice:
- Spreadsheet( Libreoffice Calc, Microsoft excel, …)
- Database software (Libreoffice Base, Microsoft Access..)
- Cartography (QGIS,…)
- Treatment ( R, …)
